Last Saturday I went to Indianapolis for Kelsey's baby shower. Kelsey is my first girl friend from high school to have a baby. We are all very excited for her. She's expecting a little girl in October. She had lots of people at her shower (even a few babies) and got tons of cute gifts. This was the first baby shower I've been to in about 10 years. It was good to "feel it out" before I have my own.
Plus I was able to see her house for the first time and she had her nursery all set up. Everything is so cute! After the shower we went over to Beth's new house, which I also got to see for the first time. Beth and Kelsey live in neighborhoods across the street from each other! Beth also has a gorgeous home and so many decorations up already.
Now for the animals...
While in Indy I stopped by LeAnn's for dinner. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the two of us, but I did get her two cute babies: Lincoln (the black one) & Reagan (the tan one). They were both VERY excited to have a new visitor in the house. The greating was a little different than the one Chips and Salsa usually give me. They are both super sweet dogs!
After hanging out with the dogs I went to West Lafayette to cat-sit my parent's cats: Spice (the tan one) & Pepper (the black one). Spice & Pepper didn't sit still for me to get very good pictures of them. They were both very happy to be pet and fed. They were even brave enough to sleep in bed with me! (I think they were just happy to have a human in the house.)
My parents were in Pittsburgh visiting my brother, Matt. His company had their BIG fundraising event called "Hot House" on Saturday night. I hear that all the hard work paid off and the event was a big success. Way to go Matt!!
